Holding your sneaker with single hand – this maybe one of the postures used by Sneakerheads when taking photos. However, this particular gesture was a symbol dating back to 1968. 


The American equal-rights activist athlete Tommie Smith broke the 200m world record in 1968 Olympic Games at Mexico City. His statement of carrying a PUMA Suede in his left hand when receiving the medal marked the historic moment of the sneaker
